Implementing an asset management system in retail banking
Project duration: 6 months
Brief description
The subproject for creating an asset management system includes the conceptual design and implementation of interfaces for supplying data to a portfolio management system.
Supplement
The portfolio management system (PMS) requires data from various of the bank's systems. One key component of the project is making this data available in a dedicated database schema, in addition to retrieving data from the PMS and transferring it to the bank's target systems. The data are transferred within an EAI architecture based on the JBI specification. Technologies such as XML, XSLT, web services (REST, SOAP) and SQL (Oracle, DB2) are used here. PTA provides support for the conceptual design and implementation of new transfer paths in the EAI environment.
Subject description
The central service provider in a banking group offers its members a white label solution for asset management in the retail banking business. The service provider supplies and develops the entire infrastructure and middleware; a portfolio management system is contributed by a third-party provider. The individual banks are offered a product that they can sell to end customers under their own name.
