SAP Basis-side support for the implementation of a third-party credit management system. The Web-based system uses an SAP Netweaver installation as a Web application server. Because the ERP system to be connected to is a non-SAP system, various shell scripts need to be provided from the Basis side. Creation, scheduling and monitoring of job chains is also required.
Supplement
The credit management system makes it possible to use SAP ERP systems as backend systems via RFC connection, as well as to connect to ERP systems of other providers. This non-SAP interface is used by exchanging text files. The data from the shared data pool of the participating company is delivered via text files in XML format.
Subject description
It is easy to make mistakes when evaluating the creditworthiness of customers and therefore the risk of missed payments based solely on ones own experiences. This can have consequences for one's own liquidity. This risk can be minimized with the implementation of a credit management system that takes into account the experiences of other companies with the most similar possible customer base. The exchange of information on payment behavior with other companies, scoring of customers, risk evaluation and definition of customer-specific credit limit are central features of such systems.
