Brief description
The IFRS investor reporting allows investment companies to make available data about special funds to investors that require it to draft their consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards (IAS 27).

The application is based on Java technology. Database access is implemented via iBatis. The functional logic is implemented via jRules for iLog, which are collated from the data reports imported via XML. Storing data in XML format provides independence from future format changes. The requirement of changing the created XMLs after they are stored in the database necessitates the conversion of XML storage from CLOB to XMLType.
Subject description
Investors in special funds that produce consolidated financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) must incorporate their special funds into their scope of consolidation as per SIC 12 and consolidate them in their consolidated financial statements. To do so they require extensive information from their investment company in which the components of the special funds are recognized in accordance with the provisions of IFRS. The application consists of data import, accounting in accordance with IFRS standards, creation of reports and Excel files. Control takes place via a web interface. The implementation, performance of appropriate tests and integration of new functionalities in relation to the application takes place based on a functional concept.
