The tasks of the project include the further development of the existing inventory management system, the analysis and correction of errors as well as the creation of evaluations of the data stock.

The system to be maintained is software whose source code was purchased by the company and has been adapted to a very large extent to the individual needs of the customer, so that it can be described as individual software. The development is done with Oracle Forms and PL/SQL. Evaluations are carried out using SQL scripts. The task definition results from error messages in the context of the customer's change request process as well as in the form of smaller internal projects. In the case of internal projects, the requirements analysis and conceptual design are carried out prior to implementation.
Subject description
The inventory management system to be processed covers all common insurance lines such as liability, automobile, accident or property insurance, but also special lines of business such as electronics or transport. The insurance company acts as a broker insurer on the market. This means that the administration functions in the inventory management system focus on sales agent management.
