GUI concept for a simulation software
Project duration: 6 months
Brief description
Project goal is the switch from an existing simulation software, which requires knowledge on C# usage and data entry, to a graphical user interface. The simulation makes it possible to test a virtual laboratory setup under different conditions and to determine its performance before the setup is installed in a real laboratory setting. The graphical user interface shows components which are needed to create a lab setup to simplify the handling for users without prior knowledge. ASP.NET is used to build the web app.

It is ensured that the implementation of the user requirements for the new interaction concept is user-friendly. User requirements for the interaction concept are collected in a workshop with potential users. Clickable mockups are created in Balsamiq and used to gather further user input. Additionally a documentation, which describes possible interactions with the product, is written.
