Supplement
The application consists of client and administration components, application servers and a landscape of databases. The application communicates with other company applications via complex interfaces at database level. Release management is supported by Subversion. For the different versions, there is an automated build and unit test process that provides an up-to-date development status to all stakeholders. For the latest release, there is a continuous integration build. Development is performed via an agile process model (Scrum). The PTA project team is responsible for all technical implementation and provides support for the rollout team.
Subject description
Offer costing supports general costing for several customers and analysis partners in different diagnostic areas such as clinical chemistry, immunology, molecular diagnostics or blood-gas analysis. The laboratory conditions of the customer, the parameters to be determined and the number of tests are entered. The material list with reagents and other consumption materials is created automatically, the calculated quantities can be adjusted by the user. It is possible to define several price variants that differ in the distribution of costs to certain material combinations and different service and finance options (e.g. leasing vs. sale). The prices for materials, tests and findings are determined and can be overwritten by the user. Every entry leads to an immediate recalculation of profitability and other KPIs. Configurable business rules are evaluated automatically. The application includes an approval workflow.
