Further development of a software for stocktaking and billing in the energy industry
Brief description
The software records and manages gas quantities in gas storage facilities. The calculated values are relevant to the balance sheet. Changes to the gas values are recorded as bookings and pass through various statuses. This concerns, for example, the purchase or sale of gas or revaluations due to changed market prices. Gas values can be entered for the first time and subsequently corrected. They must be approved by a quality assurance officer. In addition to the HGB and IFRS calculation methods already implemented in accordance with statutory regulations, an alternative calculation according to IFRS, but with different injection prices, is to be implemented.
Supplement
The alternative calculation method is called IFRS9. Essentially, the storage inventories are valued using alternative storage prices. As a special feature, in addition to the value of the storage content according to IFRS9, the difference to the measured value of the storage content according to IFRS is also calculated. The calculated values are exported to SAP-FI and to the customer's reporting system
