Brief description
The aim of the project is to evaluate a hardware prototype together with a software one in terms of safety-related usability problems in order to prevent accidents and serious operating errors.
Supplement
The iterative evaluation identifies problems with the product in good time and adaptations can be included in the development process without major cost and effort. In this way, it is possible to guarantee good product quality. The task is to develop, perform and analyze a usability evaluation, as well as to compile specific improvements to the hardware and software. Furthermore, the task includes presenting and documenting the results, and initiating and monitoring the necessary product adaptations.
Subject description
The product in question is a medical diagnosis device that is to be used in a laboratory environment. It is therefore particularly important to focus on safety-related risks during use and with the process itself, as these can have serious consequences on human life.
