Subject description
The HL7 technologies CDA (Clinical Document Architecture) and FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Ressources) are used for interoperability in puplic health care. With a FHIR server structured documents like electronical ordinances can be processed. Medical Information Systems (MIS) send electronical ordinances (specified in CDA or FHIR) to the FHIR server. The FHIR server is used as a communication and storage medium between MIS, health insurance, patient app and other care providers.
