The Solution Manager has been enhanced by the SAP AG for use in distributed SAP environments, and starting with mySAP ERP 2005 will be mandatory for the installation of the standard business management software. Apart from the management of the SAP infrastructure, the goal is to check the functions that support project management, e.g., for project control, change management, and documentation for various types of projects.
Subject description
In addition to the description and management of the system landscape, the solution manager can be used for processing introduction projects and for the ongoing operation. On the basis of the system landscape and the projects to be defined, implementation and maintenance activities can be supported.
