ETL import process as the basis for a sales tool

The system is based on an SSIS package (SQL Server Integration Services) which loads different data and structures into an MS SQL database. The package is also hosted in the database and executed daily via a job. The system collects several thousand pieces of data per day and is additionally enriched with internal data from the ERP system. Historical data is guaranteed up to 5 years in the past. The PTA designs and develops the ETL process for transaction-safe processing for import data. The development is outsourced to the PTA, whereas the requirements analysis and presentation of results takes place at the customer's site. The project is carried out with KANBAN. The results are inspected incrementally every two weeks with the customer and the further procedure is planned.
