Brief description
The tasks in the Endur environment include, among other things, an implementation project for the Endur Grid, a modification of the VaR attachment for emission certificates up until 2020, introduction of the French Financial Futures of the EEX, technical support for green energy sales activities. Moreover, numerous topics are analyzed in close cooperation with the specialist departments, such as B2B gas fixing transactions, hourly gas time tables and gas evaluation in Endur, introduction of portfolio management for third parties, CO2 commodity swaptions, gas options, and quarterly and monthly electricity options.

The implementation of trading products includes all required steps, such as analysis of the products, curve composition, price delivery, mapping in Endur transactions, processing, reporting, and data warehouse export. The implementation of the Endur grid necessitates radical changes in the end-of-day process. The goal was scalability for higher deal numbers, performance, and robustness. Besides the batch simulations (Reval Service), other processes were converted to the grid by means of the custom services.
Subject description
The customer's various units want to adapt to the continuously changing business environment with new business types. For instance, adjustments have to be made to what emerged as a liquid emission trading after 2012. The conversion of the French Power to French-Financial-Futures on the EEX should be mapped, as should the upcoming trading with green energy and the corresponding certificates. For the implementation of an order-driven trading system, the entire environment must be examined, because the legislator applies different security requirements here. Trading with new business types such as swaptions, gas options, and short-term electricity options promises new opportunities for profit.
