Development of an application for planning and procurement processes for materials
Brief description
A custom software developed by the PTA to support planning and procurement processes for materials in construction projects is being further developed and made production-ready. In doing so, final technical requirements are being implemented and functionalities are being added to enhance user-friendliness. Additionally, the production environment is being set up.
Supplement
The PTA captures requirements in agile collaboration with the customer and implements them. Azure DevOps is used to coordinate the tasks. The application consists of an Angular frontend, a backend based on the Express.js framework, and a SQL Server database that is being migrated to PostgreSQL. Prisma is used as the ORM for database access. The application runs in the Azure Cloud with configured App Services and established CI/CD pipelines.
Subject description
The selection of materials required for pipeline construction is simplified by providing a selection of standard materials. In addition, guidance on the use of these materials is provided. The list of materials can then be exported for reuse in various ordering processes (such as tendering, custom fabrication, etc.).
