New development of an application for the sale of accident insurance policies, which can be used to create offers that can be adapted to the individual risks and needs of the insurance company. To ensure the flexibility of the application with short release cycles, a cloud architecture is used.

Fast availability of functional software that meets the requirements ensures agile procedures and pair programming. The use of Pivotal CloudFoundry on Amazon Web Services infrastructure serves to shorten release cycles through continuous integration. The software architecture used is service-oriented. Different techniques are used for the realization. These include Angular 5+, TypeScript, JavaScript, Redux, Webpack. RxJS, HTML, CSS and Protractor.
Subject description
The high number of different risks and customer needs characterize the sale of accident insurance as a complex topic with regard to the consulting process and the conditions of the individual tariffs. In addition, policyholders can be offered premium refunds. In order to serve this segment optimally, a flexible solution is required that also meets the demands of digitization. This also means that the design of the application ensures technically uniform operation of different sales channels.
