Development of a mobile sales app for the collection management
Project duration: 3 years, 2 months
Brief description
For an efficient receivables and intervention management on-site at the customer, the sales representatives are supported with a digital application on mobile devices. The PTA has taken over the support and further development of this application. Together with the customer, new functional, technological and usability requirements are analyzed and implemented using an agile development process.
Supplement
The application is used in a Windows operating system client-server environment on mobile convertible devices. For offline operation of the application, a synchronization functionality is built in between the server and the clients. The software is based on the C # development language. The Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) is used to implement the graphical user interfaces. PTA uses the procedure principle of Agile Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for the further development of the software. Based on the user story created by the customer, the requirements for development are specified in analysis workshops. Subsequently, the functionalities are implemented in Scrum Sprints and the implementation is thoroughly checked before the release of the transfer by means of system tests.
Subject description
For the customers field staff, there has been a software application on mobile devices for many years, which supports them for efficient claims and intervention management on site at the customers site. This application must be continuously adapted to new requirements for processing business transactions and user guidance (UX). In coordination with the customers product owners, we discuss the new requirements and create detailed user stories from them so that technical implementation can take place based on them.
