Project duration: 5 months
Brief description
In the context of a statistical analysis of the existing network of branches, influencing factors are determined for selecting optimum sites.
Supplement
Use of the Teradata Aster analysis platform using a big data problem as an example
Subject description
The analysis examines potential influencing factors that can have an effect on specified target figures or KPIs for branch locations. Using suitable methods from the field of data science (correlation analyses, multivariate regression, significance tests etc.) and suitable GIS functions (geo-information system), the relationship between the characteristics of the branches and the specific target figures is analyzed. Combining internal company data with data from the area of consumer marketing makes it possible to analyze specific geographical and socio-demographic features. By developing recommended actions, acquisition of branch locations is optimized.
