Brief description
Migrating a database for trial data from field trials in plant management agents.
Supplement
The trial data is stored in a batch database on a Honeywell Bull computer and is statistically evaluated using FORTRAN programs. The database is converted to an Oracle RDBMS and the programs are converted to DEC/VMS. The detailed specification and data processing design are also included in the project.
Subject description
The focus is on converting the data model from a hierarchical structure to the Entity Relationship model.
