During a block of inbound collect calls by collect call services, a database (block list) is used to record telephone numbers. The objective for further development is to provide a function that enables manually-controlled processing of individual data deliveries in the event of an error (recovery).

Tasks in the number management area are derived from telecommunications legislation or changes to the same. For telephone connections where the person called is charged the connection fee (collect calls), payments cannot be charged to the caller. Because this is not allowed, a block list is maintained with numbers to be blocked by collect call services for inbound collect calls. End customers can ask their telecommunications service providers to add their numbers to the lists of blocked numbers.
