Database and interface support for operation of a ConAktiv ERP application

Brief description
During the operation of an ERP-ConAktiv application, various tasks must be performed either on a regular basis or ad-hoc upon request. For an interface implemented by PTA GmbH between the ERP system ConAktiv and the central ERP system SAP R/3, errors can be analyzed and removed, where required. The corresponding documentation is performed in the internal company remedy ticket system.

Regular support tasks include performance measurement of the system (according to different parameters), as well as monitoring of the database backup functions. Regular activities are documented in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). These documents are revised and adjusted accordingly in the event of changes (e.g. to operations or contact persons). The results of regular support services are documented. The Standard Operating Procedures are performed via remote access for the purpose of cost effectiveness and efficiency. In the limited-period initial support phase, experience is gathered that can be used as the basis for a quantity structure for the following unlimited support activities.
