Data supply of a CRM system from an integrated inventory system
Brief description
Supervision/maintenance and further development of the data supply of the customer's own CRM system from an inventory system.
Supplement
The inventory system makes changes to data available. In addition to various initial loads, there is also the delta supply, which is based on the DB2 system copy and is currently executed six times a week (Mon to Sat evenings). The data is delivered via a specially created data transfer server (DTS), which, in addition to delivering data on HTTPS basis, authenticates and authorizes users with the help of a token procedure similar to Kerberos. On the decentralized CRM systems side, the inventory data is incorporated into the existing CRM system largely automatically. The data format is regularly adjusted as of the balance sheet date.
Subject description
The connection to the operative inventory management system results in changes to the data model of the decentralized CRM system at regular intervals. These changes should be implemented in such a way that existing interfaces for the applications of the CRM system (CRM as such, quotation applications, loss notification systems, selection systems, and so on) remain as unchanged as possible.
