Creation of a production management system (MES)

The first release of the application will be used at the customer production site. The production orders are transmitted to the MES via an SAP interface. In the further production process, the system supports the production employee or manager in the various production steps, such as weighing the raw materials, process control and filling the finished product, as well as feedback to the SAP system. In addition, MES in this first release offers the possibility of shift planning and documentation. In addition to the interface to SAP, there are other interfaces to the scales of the production lines and the barcode scanners for identification of raw materials, etc. At the production plant, 11 production lines are mapped with the system. In the future, the MES will also be used world wide at other production sites with specific adaptations.
