Creating an application for exchanging and synchronizing work orders between the central database and the devices of field staff for a metering point operator.

The customer supplies its field staff with work orders in which Excel lists containing orders are generated by a central database. Confirmation of the work order status is received by email, telephone or via a ticket system. PTA creates an application that connects to the central database and downloads the orders to the field staff employee's end device (PC). The orders are then available offline when there is no connection to the company network, and they can be processed (e.g. set to status "completed"). The next time that the employee's device connects online to the company network, the transactions processed offline are uploaded and synchronized. This removes the need for feedback using an additional channel of communication, such as email.
