Brief description
Connecting the existing product sales software and the associated product component to the corporate customer consulting application in the insurance sector (project ID: 3774). The connection enhances the consulting software to include current tariff calculations in the areas of comprehensive general liability, content and legal protection. In addition, the recorded data can be transferred directly to the sales software in order to create applications. The project comprises design, implementation and support for the go-live at the customer.
Supplement
The Java-based product module is connected to the JavaScript-based consulting software via SOAP protocol and the connection is implemented as a web service based on the BiPRO standards. Using the standardized interface definition from BiPRO e.V. ensures that the necessary logic can be reused for both components. The web service is used to transfer tariffing-related data and to start the product module.
Subject description
The connection to the product module allows the corporate customer to prefabricate its needs in the consulting software at an early stage and then display the current tariffing results. The transfer of the data and the switch from the consultation directly to the sales software makes the consulting process more convenient for corporate customers and provides the ideal preparation for the proposal or application. Using the BiPRO-compliant standard interface helps improve quality.
