Conceptual development of a survey to determine the degree of digitization

Brief description
The development and conception of an online available digitization check for interested craft companies. All elements of a questionnaire are constructed. The Survey investigates within a structured process the digitization potential at the participating companies and try to advice them on future technologies.
Supplement
The methodology is developed in several phases. First, a capture of the customer request and the results so far developed. Based on this, PTA employees create the structure of the questions as well as the evaluation and suggest appropriate scoring alternatives, before the structure and details of the questions / answers are structured in several Workshops.
Subject description
The digitization check consists of an well formed online and offline evaluation document including the individual questions – answer combinations. The calculated digitization score depends on a point system for the use of digital tools and the degree of their interconnection. Since the usability of the digital Tools, that support the actual business processes, increases with consistent networking, both perspectives must be included in the overall assessment. The automatically generated evaluation also provides information about the process efficiency by means of a graphical representation and contains usefull improvement instructions for the participating company.
