Commissioning, expansion, optimization of IT-TK interface

Brief description
The system solution created in 2017 for the automated linking of IT and TC software systems is put into operation. This involves deactivating interface applications to the legacy TC system, transferring the new hierarchical data storage based on AD LDS technology, new interface applications and an intranet administration application to production mode. In addition to the technical work, training measures for key users of the system will be carried out.

Within a first phase of operation, optimization and expansion requirements of the system components are collected, prioritized and implemented. During this phase, possibilities for identifying outdated or incorrect information are designed and integrated into the administration application. Thus approx. 30% of the information migrated from the old system could be omitted and additionally thousands of data records could be corrected automatically. For the future identification of inconsistent information, expandable standard searches and export options initiated by key users are integrated into the entire database.
Subject description
The data cleansing that has been carried out has a positive effect on the entire company data stock, as it also affects information interfaces to the central personnel master data, to the SAP ERP system, to the technical management system, to Active Directory and to the ITSM tool used. Furthermore, the TK system itself and the administration personnel are relieved of the processing and administration of unnecessary data.
