Collaboration on the development of a JVS framework for meeting the EMIR templates
Project duration: 8 months
Brief description
Implementing a Java-based framework in the Endur energy trading software to generate data both for the Electronic Confirmation Matching specified by EFET and for the submission of financial transactions required by the EMIR ordinance.
Supplement
To develop the confirmation solution as well as an EMIR solution in Endur, two JVS projects are set up based on SCRUM by the customer. These projects include German, English and Czech employees. EMIR data must then be generated based on the already advanced conformation solution in CpML format and then transformed via XSLT into FpML format. Commodity-specific AVS push components are migrated from Openlink 1:1 to JVS as the basis for data extraction of the confirmation data. Because the quality of the code is very low (procedural, many redundancies, no modularity and reuse options), and in order to achieve shared data extraction, the components are completely refactored on an object-oriented basis.
Subject description
The customer core system is the Endur v8 energy trading system from Openlink. To develop a confirmation solution and an EMIR solution, two JVS projects are set up based on SCRUM. The confirmation project is the first and is already advanced. The customer then decided to generate EMIR data based on the existing confirmation solution in CpML format and then to transform it into FpML format based on the legal requirements and the existing specifications of the data repository.
