Code review of a library for energy management analytics
Project duration: 1 month
Brief description
A review of an existing code library is performed. This aims at ensuring and optimizing the code structure as well as creating the foundation for building a suite of automated tests. Additionally, the structure for a suitable code documentation is built. In the end, all activities aim at maturing the library for a production use.
Supplement
The existing library has been built in support of reliable and reproducible analytics in the context of energy management. This is based on Jupyter Notebooks for pragmatic reasons. As a next step the included functionality is to be matured into a reusable library that is well structured, tested and suitably documented. A coaching process is used to set the respective foundation and initial refactorings.
Subject description
In support of daily business processes, the library provides a set of energy management functionalities. These include, without being limited to, portfolio management analysis, parameter identification for trailing stop loss orders and general methods for handling timeseries data.
