Cobol competence development
Brief description
The 'Cobol Competence Development' project aims to develop the internal team into experts through intensive training and practical projects in COBOL programming and IBM Z system environments in order to implement future customer projects efficiently and professionally.
Supplement
As part of this project, comprehensive training programs and practice-oriented workshops were carried out, focusing on the core areas of COBOL programming and the use of IBM Z systems. In addition, internal projects were initiated to apply and deepen what had been learned in real scenarios. Best practices and advanced programming techniques were taught to ensure that the team is at the cutting edge of technology and meets customer requirements.
Subject description
The team gained in-depth knowledge in the development, maintenance and optimization of COBOL applications on IBM Z systems. The focus was on the analysis of existing legacy systems, the implementation of interfaces, performance optimization and ensuring system stability and security. Furthermore, methods of agile software development and project management were introduced and applied in order to increase efficiency and flexibility in the implementation of customer projects.
