Clean Up of Processes and Objects in a Process Modelling Tool
Brief description
A clean up is performed on the previously from different process modelling tools migrated processes and objects. The clean up is needed, because Prozess Suite is not up to date or do not fit to the customers standards. The clean up is performed by the PTA. The PTA is constantly in contact with the customer. The process modelling tool Symbio Web is a web application, which allows a centralized handling of all Business Prozesses of the customer.
Supplement
Many of the processes are outdated or obsolete. The process owners are stiring the updating activities. If an update is necessary, the department is supported by the PTA consultants. In this clean up activity the processes must be moved to a new folder structure. Additionally, all objects (e.g. roles) must be cleaned up as well. Therefor duplicates have to be consolidated, object names which do not fit to the new standards have to be corrected, objects which are not used have to be deleted and objects which should not be used any longer in the future have to be set to expired.
Subject description
The benefit of the objects clean up is both meeting the customer internal standards and an improvement of the usability of the tool. For Example, it is possible in Symbio Web to view all processes in which a certain role is used by clicking on that role. If duplicates exist, not all processes can be seen by clicking on that role.
