Change of a reporting software

The Actuate Report Designer is replaced by WebFocus. The Actuate reports were originally created by the PTA. Since the reporting software is to be replaced after many years of use, the PTA is asked to assist in the conversion of the reports. The structure, how the determined data (Oracle database) is transferred to the report, must be adapted. Since the creation of the new reports will be taken over by another service provider, it must be precisely documented how the reports work, since the content should be exact and the structure should be as similar as possible to that of the existing reports. For this purpose, a document structure (Word, Excel) is created, through which it is possible to navigate easily and clearly. Examples are added to the individual processing points.
