In this project, existing standard software is to be replaced by a customised new development. PTA is responsible for overall project management – in close cooperation with the customer – as well as the roles of product owner and test manager. PTA is also acting as a consultant for the design of the software architecture.
Supplement
The project is managed according to the PRINCE2 Agile principle. In addition to the general planning aspects, comprehensive risk management is carried out. The product owner draws up a specification sheet in the preliminary project to define the content. The requirements are already described there at a slightly higher level. In the implementation project, the requirements are specified in detail in the form of user stories. To this end, the technical experts are interviewed in workshops and the acceptance criteria are then defined. The test manager defines and coordinates all test activities. From the creation of the test concept to the test case descriptions and implementation through to the test report. The PTA software architect checks and evaluates the designed architecture. If necessary, recommendations for alternative solutions are made.
Subject description
In preparation for energy supply contract offers, it is necessary to draw up forecasts of the expected energy consumption. The calculation is then based on these forecasts in order to determine the price to be offered. This new development is intended to solve the underlying problems of the standard software. Furthermore, the modern service-orientated architecture should also meet future requirements.
