Recording as-is situation of selected business processes at eight locations of a medium-sized forwarding company (modeling in BPMN), identifying seven fields of action, with an optimization concept developed for each of them.

The selected business processes are: order receipt (order entry, data exchange, order change at end of transport processing, individual order calculation, period accruals). Process model: As-is analysis and modeling in BPMN 2.0 button-up method; workshop with customer employees; developing one optimization proposal for each field of action; presentation to the business management.
Subject description
The seven fields of action are: screen optimization in the EuroMistral application system; introducing a system-supported workflow for charge transports; enhanced system support in a special case for export orders; enhanced system support in a special case for package shipments; automated delivery notification via Internet platform; integrated order processing for daily price queries; system support for incoming document check and period accruals.
