A reagent management module as well as a quality control according to the RiLiBÄK guidelines and tailored to the customer's reagent management will be developed. Quality control is semi-quantitative and qualitative. The module supports the determination of blood groups according to RiLiBÄK standards for internal quality control for different blood group systems (AB0, Kell, Rhesus). Reagent management and quality control are linked to the blood can management in the laboratory information system. Automatic and manual determination of blood groups as well as quality control are supported. Measuring intervals and characteristics to be measured are configurable. The results of the quality control for reagents are displayed to the user during blood group determination. The combination of reagent tracing and quality control can be optionally configured for the user.
Supplement
The QC routine can be set up in the system according to the laboratory workflow. Measurement characteristics, reagents used for this purpose, as well as the frequency of measurements are mapped as an overview in the system according to the configuration of the user. The project comprises the technical conception, technical data modelling (UML compliant), as well as usability reviews with end customers for testing and documentation of user-friendliness and laboratory-compliant implementation.
Subject description
Reagent management and quality control for reagents support both device-based and manual work. The aim of the project is to support a reagent and QC traceability for blood group determinations, which serves the documentation requirements according to RiLIBÄK 2008, as well as to inform the user about the status of QC at the time of the patient measurement. Workstation-specific management of reagents (work sets) for routine and QC measurements is supported. The reagents can be maintained manually or by scanner. Barcode systems from different reagent manufacturers as well as barcodes generated in the system for control measurements are supported. Reagents, work sets, measurements to be carried out and their results are set up and displayed in a work- or site-specific manner in order to enable independent work at workplaces and prevent unwanted viewing or access by unauthorized personnel.
