Application as an interface between sales and processing
Brief description
In this project, a specification for a new individual software is created, which establishes a connection between the sales systems and the processing systems. PTA is responsible for project management – in close cooperation with the customer – as well as the roles of business and process analyst. PTA also provided a software architect to design the software architecture and integrate it into the existing IT landscape.
Supplement
The project is managed according to the PRINCE2 Agile principle. In addition to the general planning aspects, comprehensive risk management is carried out. The business and process analyst draw up a specification sheet in the pre-project to define the content. This defines the scope and describes the requirements at a slightly higher level. The specifications are drawn up by conducting workshops and interviews with the technical experts and the Group's IT service provider. The new customised software will connect various standard CRM systems on the one hand and various processing systems on the other. These systems run partly on-premise and partly in the cloud. The new system to be developed is service-orientated, scalable and expandable.
Subject description
The aim of the new system is to create a technical basis to enable end-to-end automated process processing from the sales process to contract creation and fulfilment through to the end of the contract term. Furthermore, the process processing should be scalable in order to be able to process the growing business with high performance in the future.
