Annual ongoing enhancements and support for an EEG settlement system
Brief description
Support and further development of the EEG database 2.0. This involves a distributed application (n-tier) based on J2EE, using the Apache Geronimo Server 3.0. The application is used for comprehensive system-side implementation of a transmission provider's tasks in the context of the amendments to the Renewable Energy Sources Act in the electricity sector (EEG) of July 21, 2004.
Supplement
The application plans the client as a rich client. The client only has the presentation logic (Swing, JDesktop, MVC-Pattern), while the entire business logic is implemented on the server (J2EE). Communication between the client and server is via RMI/IIOP, server-side control of the processing is implemented via stateless session beans. Access to the Oracle database is via JDBC. The implementation takes place in SAP Basis operation using JDI (Java Development Infrastructure).
Subject description
The application supports the transmission provider in carrying out nationwide balancing control in accordance with the EEG in the following tasks: Recording and reimbursing the energy quantities received by the distribution system operators. Horizontal adjustment: Proportionate distribution of the received energy and the reimbursement provided among the transmission providers. Vertical adjustment: Proportionate transfer and settling of the received electricity to electricity supply companies supplying end consumers.
