A user library is being developed for the analysis of time series data and the implementation of business processes. Suitable tools for the operation will be analysed. For the implementation (Python) Anaconda and the Python library Pandas is used. The data for the calculations are provided by InfluxDB, an open source database optimized for time series. Jupyter Notebook is used for data exploration and as collaboration tool in workshops. The operating system used is SUSE Linux Enterprise 12 Server. PTA performs the analysis of the tools and develops the user library together with the customer in workshops.
Subject description
The customer's goal is to modernize the historically grown application environment of a business unit. Parts of the business processes are to be implemented in Python and serve as a basis for automated execution. For this purpose, a development environment will be created to develop the user library. In order to independently drive future enhancements, users will be trained in the use of Pandas. Possible tools which can be used by business users are to be found.
