Analysis and modeling of actual processes in order processing
Project duration: 8 months
Brief description
In a company in the logistics sector, the actual processes in order entry and order modification at various locations are recorded, analyzed and modeled. The technical and functional modeling of business processes is performed with the BPMN 2.0 notation language. An appropriate method and structuring is used to ensure standardized process documentation.
Supplement
The business processes for order entry and modification are systematically transferred to BPMN 2.0 notation and documented. Business process modeling leads to a consolidation of sequence models and the definition of functional and technical requirements. The technical requirements analysis is aimed at improving work processes in the company divisions that intersect with order processing when custom logistical software is used. At the functional area, comparable processes at the different locations are harmonized.
Subject description
The aim of business process modeling here is to document the functional and IT processes using the relevant levels. The modeling is performed with the Visual Paradigm software.
