Analysis and evaluation of the application landscape of a retail company

Brief description
After the reorganization of the IT department of a retail company, the basic IT processes and all individually developed applications are analyzed by independent consultants. The results are, on the one hand, recommendations for action to ensure operation, further developments and strategy conformity of the applications and, on the other hand, recommendations for optimizing IT processes.
Supplement
The application managers and the software developers will be interviewed. In addition, documentation and source codes (ABAP, ASP.NET, C#.NET) are viewed and evaluated. In addition to the individual developments, which were largely created with tools from Microsoft, modifications and extensions of the SAP industry systems SAP Retail and SAP F&R (Forecasting & Replenishment) as well as the use of the communication tools used (especially SAP PI/PO) are analyzed.
Subject description
In addition to short and medium-term measures, strategic proposals are also submitted to the customer, which are based, among other things, on the product strategy of the customer's most important software supplier.
