ALM tool selection

During the requirements- and process-analysis, PTA defines a list of criteria for evaluating the tools in question together with the business department. Based on the critical requirements, the initial product list (longlist) is reduced to the candidates relevant for the project (shortlist). This catalog is then used to evaluate the respective products in the phase of the actual tool selection. For this purpose PTA conducts tool presentation workshops with the vendors and business departments in order to evaluate the shortlist candidates. The selected tool is then integrated into the customer's application landscape as part of a proof of concept to ensure the suitability with regard to the main technical requirements. The connection to ServiceNow as well as GitLab for the synchronization of incidents should be mentioned here in particular.
