In order to maintain competitiveness on the market, the existing adaptation of the legacy solution to the end-2-end connection of customers is being prepared and supported as part of the digitization strategy. With the adjustments to be made, customers will be able to order larger quantities in the future than previously in the web shop. The main tasks are the monitoring of the BizTalk server, which controls the data exchange between the webshop and the ERP system, as well as the implementation of the necessary adaptations
Supplement
The aim of this adaptation is to provide current product availability and price information from the ERP system for customers in the webshop. The automated electronic transmission of information (EDI) takes place via web services. The data exchange between webshop and ERP system is centrally managed and processed by a BizTalk Server (2006). Modifications of the interfaces in the BizTalk Server are done in MS Visual Studio. The BizTalk database is managed via MS SQL Server Management Studio.
Subject description
The goal is to analyze the legacy interfaces with regard to the new requirements and make any necessary adjustments.
