Visual Basic Script (VBS) is a script-based programming language that Microsoft developed back in the mid-1990s. VBS was originally used to automate tasks and create scripts within the Windows operating system. After almost 30 years, the software manufacturer has now declared Visual Basic Script obsolete (deprecated) in Windows 11 and will remove it completely in future releases.
