Based in Heilbronn, the incubator connects the most creative minds in Europe in a unique ecosystem for the education of the future and the working world of tomorrow. As the initiator of this ecosystem, the LearnTech Hub actively promotes collaboration between start-ups, companies and educational institutions. The aim of the network is to develop new solutions in the areas of education, human resources and new work;
A lifetime of learning
Recognizing the signs of the times in this range of topics is crucial to success. After all, the transformation of the world of work driven by digitalization is dynamic and now ubiquitous. The world of tomorrow will be different from the one we know today. The advent of new technologies, artificial intelligence and digital innovations is fundamentally and constantly changing the world of work. In the course of the ongoing digitalization of company processes, additional, sometimes new skills and qualifications of employees are coming to the fore. In order to keep pace with the dynamic change in work, but also to keep the necessary flexibility and agility open for companies in the digital transformation, continuous further development and qualification of employees, i.e. lifelong learning, is more important than ever. In this dynamic new world, those responsible must lay the foundations for proper learning at an early stage This is exactly where the LearnTech Hub comes in and promotes ground-breaking technological innovations on the part of companies, educational institutions and start-ups.
An initiative with lighthouse character
In this way, the LearnTech Hub serves as a role model for this target group in the entire DACH region; It is increasingly developing into a European beacon for the future of education and the working world of tomorrow. And this approach is more important than ever: in schools and universities in particular, the young professionals of tomorrow need to be taught digital education and skills that are up-to-date and, in the best case, even meet future requirements. In the area of in-company training, on the other hand, it is of central importance not to stop and to train new, necessary knowledge and to regularly refresh what has already been learned; Especially in the wake of the growing shortage of skilled workers, companies are coming under increasing pressure to act, which needs to be alleviated with innovative concepts. This gives rise to complex issues, particularly in view of the fact that education systems are reaching their limits in many places; The LearnTech Hub takes these major challenges as an opportunity to bring creative makers and designers together with its partners in a unique environment and bring innovative learning and training concepts to life;
Shaping the education and working world of tomorrow
The Learntech Hub was initiated by Campus Founders and is located on the educational campus of the Dieter Schwarz Foundation in Heilbronn. Eleven educational and scientific institutions offer a wide range of services for all facets of lifelong learning – a unique ecosystem in one of Europe’s strongest and most dynamic economic regions; Together with more than 100 members and partners such as the TU Munich and Fraunhofer IAO, the alliance around the LearnTech Hub offers a home to innovators from the fields of the future of education and the working world of tomorrow and is active throughout Germany.
