DWH Support
Brief description
In this project, PTA supports an agile development team of the customer in supporting existing and developing new productive internal BI processes. PTA's competent support ensures that the requirements coming from the customer's specialist departments are processed more quickly.
Supplement
PTA works with the customer in an agile Kanban team. The main focus is on developing and providing ETL processes, procedures, interfaces and packages with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). This is used to load and process data from various source systems into the Teradata DWH. SAP Powerdesigner is used as the data modeling tool. In addition, the PTA also supports the development of Oracle Application Express (APEX) applications. The interactive APEX web applications enable the developers and the customer's business departments to maintain the master data and control tables. For the APEX application, staging tables and, if needed, database triggers are created in an Oracle staging database. From there, the data is loaded into the DWH through the ODI interfaces.
