Test management software for actuarial pricing in the cloud
Brief description
Development and further development of a cloud-based Java server faces web application for the management of actuarial test cases from various lines of business with the execution of individual tests and regression test runs. The application is at the heart of maintaining the stability of the pricing components as they are adapted and expanded. Production errors can be deducted in test case format and used for detailed analysis. Support is provided in front-end and back-end development.
Supplement
The Java web application uses Java Server Faces, PrimeFaces and Bootstrap to manage and graphically implement user interactions. It is deployed on a Liberty Websphere application server. The development tools used are Eclipse (2020-06 onwards) and Apache Maven. As full-stack developers, the PTA staff are responsible for the creation and maintenance of the database, the design and implementation of logic and GUI, as well as securing the implementation through unit tests, and are directly involved in the technical decision-making process using an agile project management approach.

Test management to find errors in actuarial pricing. The application is used by the specifications department to test the commissioned adjustments. Regression test runs stabilise the further development of the calculation kernels. Errors from production can thus be analysed quickly.
