Roll-out of an SAP Cloud for Customer solution to the national subsidiaries
Brief description
PTA introduced an SAP Cloud for Customer (SAP Sales Cloud) solution to optimize the sales processes at the customer's site which is now rolled out to the national subsidiaries of the customer's company. The project includes the basic setup and configuration of the CRM as well as the middleware CPI tenant. The country specific master data is loaded as to the customer's sales requirements.

In addition to the central SAP Cloud for Customer Tenant, the project environment includes the online middleware SAP Cloud Platform Integration for connection to the on-premise SAP ERP system already in place at the customer's site. The PTA works closely with the customer to develop the exact requirements for the system and sets it up according to these specifications. The initial filling of the CRM system with the necessary master data as well as the implementation and activation of the necessary interfaces complete the activities. On top of these tasks a legacy Lotus Notes database is analyzed to propose best practices on how to migrate data hosted there into the cloud CRM.
Subject description
The online SAP CRM 'Cloud for Customer' is being introduced at the customer's premises to optimize sales processes. The process from customer acquisition to quotation and order placement is thus supported, further digitalised and ultimately made more efficient.
