Entry and maintenance of customer-specific scheduling agreements
Project duration: 1 year
Brief description
The application for recording and maintaining customer-specific scheduling agreements is part of an individually developed order entry system. Items that are stored in a scheduling agreement are handled separately in the further order process. Due to major process adaptations, the applications are completely redesigned, including a technology change from Visual C++ to C# with WPF as user interface.
Supplement
This system is a client-server architecture with a SQL Server 2008 as backend database and a WPF-.Net client based on C# (3.5), developed with Visual Studio 2010 Professional. The reports contained in the application are realized with the purchased component List & Label 17.
Subject description
During order entry, it should be possible to identify the materials stored in the scheduling agreement so that they can be considered separately in the further order process. The application offers the possibility to create and manage customer-specific scheduling agreements. By introducing higher-level scheduling agreements, it is even possible to map scheduling agreements from larger groups to different ordering departments via inheritance, thus avoiding redundant maintenance of the data.
