Further development of the existing management information system for a large hospital
Project duration: 9 months
Brief description
The management information system (cockpit) existing in a large hospital, which allows a quick monthly overview of the defined control parameters, is extended in the display by the areas 'process', 'OP/ITS', 'outpatient clinic' and data of psychiatry/psychosomatics. Reporting is based on the International Business Communication Standard (IBCS). Further KPIs are displayed, such as bed blocks, bed utilization, potential CM, number of surgeries, OR plan stability, number of outpatient cases, visit frequency, occupancy days, valuation ratio, etc. With the addition of the psychiatry/psychosomatics area, the scope of the data to be determined is expanded in the areas of 'profitability' and 'personnel', among others.
Supplement
For the areas 'process', 'OP/ITS' and 'outpatient clinic', the cockpit data (ADSOs) already available in the cockpit data management is accessed after its correctness has been evaluated. The data of the area 'Psychiatry/Psychosomatics' is now integrated into data management by implementing a seventh data flow (expert routine, among other things). The determination of data on cost center areas will be extended.
Subject description
The current display is extended by the possibility of displaying inpatient performance indicators and the indicators for psychiatry/psychosomatics together in one area in two different registers.
