The implemented SAP BW 7.4 on HANA has grown within a rapidly changing market environment. The surrounding source and front-end systems are also subject to dynamic change. In this environment, it is analyzed whether and to what extent SAP BW is the appropriate tool for the upcoming and planned activities in the course of digitization.
Subject description
The area of conflict lies in the compatibility of the historically grown structures with the future goals. The former are characterized by heterogeneous user groups, rapidly changing source applications with growing backlog in cross-system integration and resulting challenges in the comparability of results. The latter are characterized by the desire for a flexible platform for increasing self-service reporting by users.
