Support in the selection of a test automation tool

Brief description
Within the project, several test automation tools will be evaluated with respect to their potential for automated testing of both desktop and web applications for users with limited programming skills.
Supplement
The customer already has a shortlist, which will be expanded with additional tools during the project. These tools will then be tested with regard to their possible applications. Since the customer develops and supports a wide variety of applications, the requirements for a test automation tool are relatively extensive. Both desktop and web applications must be supported, and it must be possible to map test cases that contain interactions between different systems. Within the evaluation, the actual requirements are then tested with the tools in question.
Subject description
The aim is to find a test automation tool that is suitable for all customer applications. This means that it should be avoided as far as possible that different tools are used for the same purpose in different development projects.
