Gas and Power Order Report

Brief description
Calculation of gas and power demand of business customers of an energy supplier for ordering. The source of the data is SAP CRM and SAP IS-U where the Report used to be generated. The project moves the generation of the report to SAP BW so as to improve maintainability and performance.
Supplement
The required data already exists in BW for the most part. The logic for the reports is modeled in scripted calculation views. The access to data maintained in classical bw objects is obainted via Composite Providers and external Hana views.
Subject description
The report calculates the energy demand. The account managers check and confirm the amounts and attributes of the contracts, e.g. green energy and others. The values may differ in the two source Systems CRM and IS-U. A logic is implemented to determine which system is the leading one. An error report helps the users to find inconsistent contracts and to correct them in the original systems.
